Zoja Turković (Milić) was born in 1994 in Belgrade. She decided on architecture as her career path already in elementary school. After finishing elementary school, she enrolled in the Secondary Architectural School in Belgrade, graduating with excellent results. She ranked 5th on the admission list for the Faculty of Architecture, where she completed both her undergraduate and master’s studies on time with an average grade of 9.67.
In 2018, she graduated from the Faculty of Architecture at the University of Belgrade in the field of architectural design under Professor Vladimir Lojanica, earning a perfect score of 10.
Immediately after completing her studies, she began her architectural practice at PlanaArchitects (Los Angeles) and the Belgrade-based firms RAUM (architect Miloš Raonić) and MERITUS (architect Zoran Djordjević), where she continues to work to this day.
She actively participates in architectural exhibitions and salons, including being awarded at the 21st Architecture Salon in Novi Sad (2018). She is also an active participant in architectural competitions, having won two first prizes: the Slavija Competition (2021) and the Ložionica Competition (2021).
In parallel with her education and work at Meritus, she founded her own practice, Zoja Mi Architecture (2020), where she independently works on interior design and execution, as well as designing family homes.
In 2024, she passed the professional exam with a project for the reconstruction, adaptation, and renovation of the Zemun Gymnasium building, obtaining a licensed responsible designer certification.
She continues her professional career as a Lead Architect at Meritus.
