The men’s room within The Piano Room Apartment in Belgrade is envisioned as a warm, sophisticated, and nostalgic retreat, where contemporary comfort meets retro aesthetics. The central element of the room’s interior is the piano, thoughtfully integrated into an ambient composition formed by shelves and a display cabinet made of dark smoked glass with built-in LED lighting. The furniture features gently rounded forms in wood and beige tones, creating a soft visual impression and a sense of coziness. The space exudes character through authentic details: vintage skis, retro ski posters, and family heirlooms such as lamps, vases, and side tables from the client’s great-grandmother’s era—all telling a personal story through design. A large desk is positioned beneath the window and seamlessly connected to the wardrobe, forming a functional and cohesive whole. Uniquely, the room is lit solely by ambient lighting concealed within a lowered ceiling, contributing to an intimate atmosphere without the use of central lighting.
